The Corporate Law Teachers Association (CLTA) was formed in 1994, and
represents corporate law scholars in Australia, New Zealand and the Asia Pacific
region. The goals of the CLTA include:-
- Advancing corporate law teaching, research and scholarship
- Promoting cooperation and exchange of ideas between corporate law
scholars in the region
- Promoting active cooperation between corporate law teachers and
universities
- Promoting cooperation with professional legal associations and law
reform agencies
- Hosting an annual conference to highlight current developments in
corporate law scholarship
Membership of the CLTA is free, and we invite all university teachers of
corporate law and associated subjects to join. Membership is available to
postgraduate research students in the field of corporate law, who
are also warmly encouraged to join the association.
Message from the President
Welcome to the CLTA. Our association is a strong community of corporate law scholars that share common teaching and research aims.
All academics interested in joining the association are welcome to do so. Membership is free. The 'community' meets at least once a year in a highly regarded conference. All members receive email bulletins to update you on these events.
Please send any email messages regarding CLTA matters directly to me at
Larelle.Chapple@anu.edu.au.
Kind regards, Ellie Chapple, National CLTA President :)
